Power Yoga

This class is taught by:

Nelly Kloet

My strong yoga classes are inspired by Ashtanga Yoga, movement and dance. My yoga style aims to build your core, strengthen your arms, and improve balance and flexibility. It can be a great workout but is done in a gentle, relaxed and fun way. My classes end with restorative poses, Yoga Nidra or guided meditation to give stillness and a well-deserved rest.

My yoga journey began ten years ago with Ashtanga Yoga. I used to attend classes every week and was drawn to the physical aspect in particular. Then my life moved to New York for a few years, where there are an amazing variety of yoga schools operating classes 24/7. I started to appreciate that yoga is not just about postures and that all of the different yoga paths lead to the same thing, ultimately –connecting with the body and the mind through the breath. With two young children and a husband launching a US startup, I could never have coped without yoga and I decided to train as a teacher myself to share what I’d learned.

I also organise half-day Yoga & Nutrition retreats during term-time. These have been really popular and are a great way to take a time-out from your busy life to nourish the body, mind and tummy!

She is a Yoga alliance registered 200hrs teacher with a strongly grounded vinyasa practice which is quite obvious from her class teachings.
“ If i can give one small part of my offering as a teacher it would be that students would feel better and rejuvenated when leaving my class”………
